FOCUS EXHIBITORS : Ticketing/passenger information, exhibitors making life easier for users

Contactless payment, validation by smartphone, route planning, and optimised fares are all areas in which players are innovating and exploring the opportunities generated by digital technology to make life easier for passengers.

Italian firm AEP ticketing solutions will be there. Its Easy Ticketing solution delivers all the innovative features the market is looking for today: Account Based Ticketing, e-Commerce, app, web portal, EMV bank cards, and more.

Almost 150 French networks have opted for Ubitransport for roll-out and monitoring of their ticketing systems.The Mâcon-based firm bought out Actoll in April 2022, aiming to become a leader in the field of connected ticketing, payment solutions, and passenger traffic management.

With Moovizy in Saint-Etienne, Amaze in Amsterdam, Optymod’ in Lyon, FlexiLiA in Le Havre, Triplinx in Toronto, Mticket in New Orleans, and Kédia in New Caledonia, Cityway is developing and integrating passenger information systems, same-day and advance booking for services, payment, and validation, as well as analytics support and smart adjustment of local mobility offerings.

Thalès will be demonstrating Transcity, its mobility platform for ‘frictionless travel’: this can integrate any operator (ranging from metros, buses, major rail lines, and tramways to taxis, road tolls, car parks, and micromobility), as well as providing a wide range of payment options (contactless, EMV bank cards, smartphones), pay-as-you-go services, and more.

Specialising in on-demand transport for persons of reduced mobility, Simpliciti will be exhibiting its new Citi’Moov platform, launched in 2021. With a new, even more user-friendly user experience, Simpliciti is supporting local authorities by modernising and simplifying user journeys, thus promoting access to more inclusive mobility.

Flowbird will be presenting SESAME, its open payment system.
