Queues, flow management, space occupation... Affluences measures the people flow in a transport network as a whole:

  • On board metros, trains, buses or trams;
  • In commercial agencies;
  • In the interchange hubs.

This data can then be consulted internally via our data visualization interface, which allows us to better understand and manage visitor flows.

They can also be communicated directly to passengers so that they can better anticipate their journey or their experience in the agency.

Our mission: to improve the daily life and comfort of users and to provide transport operators with past, current and forecasted people flow to help them optimise their service to passengers!

Measuring people flow on board transport

Affluences measures the attendance or occupancy in public transport thanks to sensors adapted to the needs of each client: we master all the counting technologies on the market. The information is distributed directly to passengers so that they can spread out better on the platform and improve their travel comfort.

This counting data can be used internally to optimise the transport plan - or communicated to passengers to improve the experience and comfort of the journey.

Waiting management in sales areas

Affluences is currently the only company able to offer a 360° waiting management solution: measurement of waiting time, attendance or occupancy using sensors, appointment scheduling, queue management system, etc.

The data is then used by agency managers to optimise their organisation and communicated to travellers so that they are informed, reassured and enjoy a better experience on site.

Measuring people flow at infrastructures

Affluences measures attendance in real time either by installing equipment adapted to each site or by retrieving the information directly from existing systems.

Thanks to this data, infrastructure managers and multimodal hubs can make planning decisions, optimise cleaning and maintenance, or pass on this data to the public to smooth out people flows (e.g. by communicating the number of people in a relay car park remotely).
